A client of mine recently told me a story about some frustrating client experiences that helped her shift her perspective on who she does and more importantly doesn't want to work with. And this isn't unique to her either! I find with my clients it's often the most aggravating or amazing ones that allow us to clarify and refine who we want to focus on serving. While it can be frustrating to have to learn from the experiences themselves, it's not really a part of business you can bypass. The clarity comes from the doing.
