This episode was inspired by a very misleading IG post I saw
recently by a business coach claiming that when people say they had
a "$10K month" they don't mean "cash-in-hand." For awhile I've
wanted to discuss this toxicity of #BossBabe culture and the lack
of integrity many business owners display, but this was the tipping
point. If the term #BossBabe feels empowering to you, keep using
it! But this is more about what often gets displayed online under
the label of #BossBabe or #GirlBoss. Sadly, these are the same
harmful systems that have unfortunately run rampant in capitalism
such as exploitation of labor and dishonest marketing.
